The health food industry and health consciousness of the Chinese people have seen significant strides in the last few years. When China Yingxia started operations in 1998, we focused exclusively on the production of cactus related products. Over the course of the years, we were able to identify other products that would complement our cactus business. With the introduction of nutritional foods and dietary supplements, we have not only expanded out business, but also diversified our product offerings. Our nutritional foods, especially soybean related products have been very successful and expanded our product portfolio, both organically and through acquisitions. In 2008, we acquired six soy milk production lines from King International. Our unique business model enables us to keep operating costs down by relying on franchisee-owned retail outlets for distribution. We have recently expanded our business internationally, by opening our first subsidiary in New Delhi, India.
June 2008 – China Yingxia completed the acquisition of a soy milk production facility in Shanghai.
April 2008 – China Yingxia acquired the Chichi Network Companies, a Guangzhou-based online retailer and supermarket chain.
December 2007 – China Yingxia reported a total of 1,000 active franchisees, a 100% increase from 2006.
